Seminar objectives

-          To give information about the characteristics of Comenius in the LLP Programme.

-          To provide a forum for  contacts between schools from different European countries interested in Comenius projects.

-          To enhance and support the development of high quality Comenius projects focused on Content Integrated Language Learning (CLIL).

Topics

-          Setting up a quality Comenius project: Multilateral or Bilateral.

-          CLIL school provision in Europe.

-          CLIL development in a plurilingual environment.

-          European projects focused on the CLIL approach: contents, materials and products.

-          Fostering eTwinning and collaborative approaches in European cooperation

Target group

The seminar foresees the participation of 50 teachers/headteachers (whenever possible 25 teachers from primary education and 25 from secondary education) from LLP countries.

Priority should be given to participants involved in CLIL programmes.
